We had an early start heading over to Burnham Market with Zidante who was doing the Intermediate and Boondoggle, Bee Animas and General Opposition doing the Advanced.

Zidante was a little superstar again, she was competing in only her second ever Intermediate. She did a very nice test to score 31 then did a very mature and grown up double clear to win!!

Boondoggle went very well in the advanced to score a 31, he was a little flatter than at some of his earlier events this season, but it was still a lovely test. He then went on to jump a double clear and finish 7th. I only went slowly cross country as it was very firm, but it was great to finish in the placings with him.

General Oppostion did a good test to score 34 and wasn’t far off the pace, he then went on to have two down, which was a real shame as he jumped really well and didn’t deserve to have them down. He then went cross country but really wasn’t happy on the ground so I pulled him up after half way round to save him for another day.

Bee Animas was a little tense in his test and scored 37, he was first to go and there was no one else up at the arenas so I think this is what wound him up a little. I then didn’t jump him as the ground wasn’t going to suit him.
