I have huge ambitions to become the best and I believe I have the motivation to succeed at the highest level of my sport
Kitty King is an Olympic International event rider who competed at the Rio 2016 games with Ceylor LAN.
She is the first event rider to have represented Team GB at all levels: Pony, Junior, Young Rider and Senior teams and is the only one to have won medals at all levels.
In 2015 was ranked 9th in the FEI World Rankings and finished the year 4th in the North Western Europe zone, the highest placed female rider in Britain. She finished the British Eventing season in 12th position.
Kitty believes in treating her horses as individuals and restricts her numbers so that she is able to school all the horses herself.
This allows her to build a close partnership with each horse which is paramount in getting the very best out of them when competing. Stable management is equally important and her yard truly is a 5 Star Hotel!
2015 was a stellar year with selection for the European Championships at Blair on Persimmon. She was, unexpectedly, asked to be the team pathfinder and ended the competition as the highest placed British Rider in 4th place, just 0.1 of a penalty point off an individual bronze medal. This performance secured a silver medal for the British team.
