I had Billy Bounce, Vendredi Biats and Virage Des Falaises in the CIC** and Mo Cuiske in the Open Novice.
Billy Bounce did a lovely test, just getting a little unbalanced at times in the patchy ground. He scored a competitive 47.7. He jumped an immaculate clear in the show jumping and stormed round the cross country picking up just a few time faults to finish 6th.
Vendredi Biats did some great work in his test but made one annoying mistake in his counter canter when he put a flying change in. He still scored a competitive 46.6. He then jumped a brilliant clear in the show jumping and flew round the cross country to pick up a handful of time faults to finish 4th.
Virage Des Falaises found the wind and showers in the main arena all a little exciting. He did some great work but made some silly mistakes when he thought he new best. He scored 55.9. He jumped a super clear in the show jumping and made his first two star feel very easy. He was great round the cross country which was a tough question for him having only done one intermediate, we had a technical 20 penalties when he jumped of the bank too exuberantly and I couldn’t get to the skinny without crossing my tracks unfortunately.
Mo Cuiske was rather pleased to be back out competing again, so didn’t do as good a test as he is capable of. He scored 35.5. He jumped a lovey clear in the show jumping and cross country to finish 4th. He really enjoyed himself and felt back to his best.
