I had Ceylor LAN and Vendredi Biats running in the Advanced Intermediate at a rather windy Lincoln, although it’s a long drive it is always worth the effort as the ground is always fantastic.

Ceylor LAN did a very pleasing test in the gales blowing across the arena, he wasn’t too impressed with my tails constantly flapping about on his back so was a little tight at times. He scored a good mark of 29.1. Watch our test here:

He then jumped a faultless round in the show jumping and felt like he was on springs. Watch our round here:

He absolutely whizzed around the cross country and ate it up, he felt in great form and was as near to foot perfect as you can get. He finished on his dressage to win the section comfortably. Watch our round here:

Vendredi Biats did a super test for his first attempt at this level and showed great promise, he led the section with a 27.4. Watch our test here:

He jumped very well round a strong track and was unlucky to have two down, one in front and one behind through a touch of  greenness round his biggest track to date. Watch our round here:

I just gave him a steady run round the cross country and he felt on super form and gave me a lovely ride. We picked up a few time faults to finish in 7th place. Watch our round here:
