I had Mo Cuiske, Persimmon and Ceylor LAN all in the Open Intermediate. The 3.30 leave time was all made worth while as all the horses went brilliantly.
Mo Cuiske did another settled and good test, he is feeling more consistent in this phase than ever. I was a little disappointed with his mark of 32.3 as I felt it was of equal quality to his test the week before.
He then jumped a much improved round compared to Tweseldown. I made sure I got a better canter and made sure he was awake and he jumped really well, he was very unlucky to have one down, but I feel we were both back on the same wave length.

He then flew round the tough and technical cross country course, he was dead straight on all his lines and eyed all fences up brilliantly and felt great. He picked up some time faults and finished just outside the top ten.
Ceylor LAN was more settled in his test than at Tweseldown and showed some lovely expressive work. He scored a top mark of 27.7.

He then jumped a foot perfect clear round the show jumping and flew round the cross country. I was moving him along in a good rhythm but not trying for the time so was very surprised to have only picked up 2.8 time faults and to have won the section.

Persimmon did another lovely test, showing lots of elasticity and expression. He scored a very competitive mark of 26.6.

He then jumped another foot perfect clear round the show jumping and felt on great form. He then jumped a super clear round the cross country, he was still keen like Tweseldown, but it felt like I had his concentration this time! He felt great and back on form, enjoying everything, but not taking the mickey out of me. He also only picked up a couple of time faults and like Ceylor LAN won his section. So all in all we had a fantastic time up at Lincoln.
