I had The Last Euro and Drewmain Firefly in the BE100 and Billy Bounce, Virage Des Falaises and Mo Cuiske in the Open Intermediate.

The Last Euro did his now customary stunning test to score 24.8. Watch his test here:

He then jumped a lovely clear in the show jumping to head his section before the cross country. Watch our round here:

He gave me a great ride round the cross country and finished easily inside the time, unfortunately he finished a little too easily inside the time and picked up 0.4 of a time fault which moved us into 2nd place.

Drewmain Firefly was competing in the KBIS 5 year old qualifier, he did a very correct and mistake free test to score 29.5. He then jumped a beautiful clear in the show jumping. Watch our round here:

He then whizzed round the cross county to finish on his dressage score and in 3rd place to qualify for the finals up at Osberton.

Billy Bounce was a star in the OI, he was first in the dressage arena at 8.00 and produced a great test to score 26.4. He then jumped a wonderful clear in the show jumping and absolutely flew round the cross country finishing inside the time to add nothing to his dressage score. This left us in equal first, but unfortunately I was further from the optimum time so this left us in 2nd. Watch our round here:

Virage Des Falaises was doing his second Intermediate and was a star again, he did a lovely test to score 28.2. Watch our test here:

He then jumped another super clear in the show jumping. Watch our round here:

He gave me his best cross country ride to date and jumped a wonderful clear within the time to finish on his dressage score in 2nd place. Watch our round here:

Mo Cuiske did a very relaxed and accurate test to score 30.2 in the OI. He then jumped a lovely round in the show jumping and was extremely unlucky to have the last fence down. I then didn’t run him cross country as we have decided to retire him from this level of competition. The owner is now looking to sell him to someone wanting to gain experience at one star level as this is the level that he really enjoys.

In my videos you will have probably notice that I have been riding with my Willberry Pony, Kingberry. I hope that by riding with him I will keep Hannah’s memory alive and keep raising awareness of the wonderful charity that she set up. Please take a look at the great things her charity does and please keep donating!
